EBAAF initiates and supports activities that strengthen the skills and capacity of the many dedicated individuals and diverse organizations serving the East Bay HIV/AIDS community.
Most recently, EBAAF:
Helped plan and participated in the first-ever "Alameda and Contra Costa Counties HIV/AIDS Out-of-Care Summit."
Conference proceedings are currently being compiled. The results will soon be published and also will be incorporated into a five-year comprehensive plan that will guide the East Bay HIV Services Planning Council.
In addition, EBAAF:
Maintains the East Bay HIV/AIDS Community Resources Hub;
The Hub continues to provide useful tools and information for HIV and related individuals and organizations on a range of topics, including HIV program development, grant proposal writing, budgeting, and more; and
Hosts specialized training sessions and workshops for HIV/AIDS activists and professionals.
